Small Groups Ministry

What are Small Groups?

For us, small groups are about being encircled by your people about Jesus. People whom you share things in common with like interests, values, life experiences, season of life, and so on. We like to think ‘outside the box’ so that even the busiest people can connect in meaningful ways.

We are very excited to be working with a number of people to help launch their respective small group!

  • A Young Marrieds with Very Young Kids Group
  • A 65 plus Seniors Couples Group
  • A 50s-60s Couples Group that meets Saturday days
  • A 30s-40s Guys Group

Would any of these groups be a fit for you or someone you know?  I would love to hear about it! Email Pastor Noel: noel@mycac.ca

Which group is right for you?

Short-Term

4 to 6 weeks

Either in-person or via Zoom, it’s a great way to meet people with whom you may want to build a long-term small group. We run two short-term small groups a year: one in the fall and one early in the new year.

Long-Term

Weekly or Bi-weekly

Groups of 8 to 12 like-minded people that meet in a home or a third space (such as the church, a coffee shop, or an office) to connect in meaningful ways about Jesus.

Cluster Groups

Regular Basis

3 to 4 people that meet when and where they like. It’s simple, fluid, yet intentional. It fits even the busiest lifestyle, and is a great foundation for building a long-term group of 8 to 12 people.

Virtual Groups

Shorter Meetings

With no travel required, and shorter meeting times, group members can connect from anywhere. With training, virtual groups can connect as meaningfully about Jesus as in-person.

Why join or build a Small Group?

As a church of small groups, we want to help you connect with your people. Studies show that people are much healthier mentally, physically, and spiritually when they connect in meaningful ways about Jesus.
