What is our Women’s Ministry?
This is a place where women of all ages meet to enjoy each other’s company, while learning about life and faith in Jesus Christ over coffee and good conversation.
Women’s groups & sessions
Ladies Morning Break
Tuesday mornings at 9:30am in the All Purpose Room (APR), starting September 22nd. The mom's group and the ladies' group meet together for worship and fellowship, then they split into their separate study groups. This fall, the ladies group will be studying the book of Daniel. If you have questions, please visit the events page, or email Florence Westeringh at women@mycac.ca This group is also available by Zoom, for those unable to attend in person. CAC Mom to Mom
This is a group where moms with young children are mentored by more experienced moms in all things life and parenting. It’s a place where women can come together to do life and study the Bible every Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 11:00. This fall we will work through two video studies: Fire & Faithfulness by Sadie Roberson Huff, and Warrior Women: Deborah by Bianca Juarez. Tuesday Evening Bible Studies
Weekly schedules vary from person to person, so we are thrilled to offer these options for women who can't attend Tuesday morning: Tuesday evenings, starting on September 22nd, at 7 pm in the HUB, led by Sabine Abassi (sabine.abbasi@gmx.de). We invite you to join us as we explore the letters of Galatians and Ephesians, discovering how these two epistles beautifully complement one another - from the foundation of the Gospel to living out the Gospel. Tuesday evenings, starting September 22nd, at 6:45 in the Young Adults Lounge, let by Monica Chalmers. We invite you to join us as we journey through the book "Captivating" by John & Stasi Eldridge as we rediscover God's unique love for women.
Thursday Morning Bible Study
Thursday mornings at 9:30am in the Coffee Connection, beginning September 10th. Led by Julie Klassen, this group will be studying the book of Hebrews. Please email juliefrompearls@gmail.com if you have any questions. No childcare provided.
Women Celebration!
Evening events where women gather to have a great time laughing and chatting over food and fun. These events are sometimes focused around a banquet, or a craft night, or a painting night, and are a great opportunity to meet other wonderful women!
